Happy Mother's Day - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello friends! Today I have a Mother’s Day card, using previously-released sets:  Large Floral Hearts Stamp Set , Mom Stamp Set , and Mother’s Day Stamp Set . I love going through my stash and combining different sets, even if they are meant for other occasions.  To start, I cut a 4 inch square in patterned cardstock and adhered it onto a 4.5 inch lavender card base. I then stamped, cut, and colored the images from the sets mentioned above. I used Copic markers - BG10, BV02/00/0000, E40, R22/20/00/000, Y13/11, and YG23/21.I then adhered the heart onto the card panel and placed a 3.5 inch square in vellum to soften the look of the heart. Next, I foam mounted the floral arrangement and butterflies on the vellum. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of kraft cardstock and glued onto the card panel. That’s all for this Mother’s Day card. I hope that I’ve inspired you to use older stamp sets to make new cards. Have a great day!

Make a Wish - Pretty Pink Posh

Hello, crafty friends! Today, I am sharing a birthday card, featuring the new Flat Pinwheels Dies . These pinwheels are so cute and perfect for your Spring cards and other paper crafts. To begin, I cut the smallest of the Flat Pinwheel Dies in patterned papers. For the wands, I used one of the strips from the Stitched Strips Dies and cut them in Kraft cardstock. I also cut a .5 inch strip in patterned paper to go across the card and the eyelet border in white cardstock.  I adhered all the elements onto the panel with liquid glue. To add dimension to the flat pinwheels, I suggest adding the glue only to the center of the pinwheels and slightly lift up the pinwheels with your fingers. The sentiment is stamped onto a strip of pink cardstock and foam mounted onto the panel. I also adhered a few Limeade Pearls for added interest. Lastly, I adhered the card panel onto a card base.  Thanks so much for stopping by the blog! I hope that I’ve inspired you to create cards using the Fl
