Hi Sweet Friend - Pretty Pink Posh

Hey there, my crafty pals! I'm super excited to share a really cute shaker card that I made using the amazing new products from Pretty Pink Posh. This card is not only adorable but also incredibly easy to make. Trust me, it's a breeze! So, let's dive in, and I'll show you how you can create your own shaker card that will bring a big smile to your recipient's face.

To start, I used a 4-inch square piece of white cardstock as the base for my card. The main feature of this card was the Layered Watermelon Stencil, which created a playful watermelon background. I used a combination of colorful inks like Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Worn Lipstick, and Glacier White to give the card a fresh and summery vibe. To make it a shaker card, I added a sheet of acetate around this panel, making it interactive. For the shaker elements, I used a mix of Lime Shimmer and Watermelon Crush. These cute little embellishments added a touch of whimsy and brought the watermelon theme to life.

Next, I mounted the watermelon panel onto a 4.5-inch square red cardstock for a fun pop of color. Then, I used the Watermelon Stamp Set to heat emboss the words "Hi Sweet" onto a strip of black cardstock. To make the sentiment really stand out, I cut the word "Friend" from red and pink cardstock and glued it onto the clear plastic.

Finally, I made a 4.5-inch square white card base and glued the card panel onto it. And voila! That's it for my card. I hope you enjoyed my shaker card and that it inspired you to create one of your own. Have an awesome day!

Pretty Pink Posh February 2023 Release Blog Hop

Hello friends! Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh February 2023 Release Blog Hop and happy  9th birthday, PPP!  Today, I’m sharing a birthday card and a gift card holder that I made using dies and stencils from the new Birthday Release.  For my card, I started with an A2-sized white cardstock that I ink blended with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed some water for an oxidized effect and also splattered some white ink on it. I then took a scrap of white cardstock and used finger daubers to ink blend Distress Oxide Inks in rainbow colors. I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Lucky Clover, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet. I sprayed water, splattered white ink, and cut the rainbow colored panel with the WISH die. I also cut the flame from the Birthday Mug Addition Dies and ink blended it with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink.  Next, I stamped the sentiments with black ink then foam mounted WISH and the flame on the card panel. I also added some pearls for inter

For added interest, I sprayed this larger panel with water that has a bit of white ink.  Next, I cut the dies from the Winter Mug Dies and the new Easter Mug Additions Dies in white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers and Distress Oxide Inks. The blue bunny mug also got a print from the Mini Grid Stencil . Before foam mounting the mug, I placed a sheet of vellum to soften the carrot background and I also stamped the sentiment onto the vellum with Stazon ink.  Here are the Copic markers I used for the mini eggs: BG70, R00, V000, Y11, YG61, YR000 I embellished the card with Pi
