Hello and happy Saturday!
Today, I am sharing a card that I made for my husband. We celebrated our 11th year anniversary last weekend and well... I owe him a card. LOL! I've been so busy with other things and completely ran out of time to make an anniversary card for him until now. It's better late than never, right?
For this card, I used products from my new favorite company, Pigment Craft Co.
I started out by stamping the beautiful frame twice from the Wonderful Mom stamp set. I used the Bitty Dots stencil set in Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar distress oxide inks for the background. I colored the florals with Copic Markers - BG05/09/11/13, G61/63/57, and Y18. I then cut them with the coordinating die. I also cut 8 extras and stacked the florals up for dimension (2 per piece). This gives it a nice clean look, but you can also use foam tape for dimension. Next, I glued down the floral clusters to the corners of the frame. I also stamped a couple of little flowers from the Spring Floral stamp set and cut with the coordinating die.
I then stamped the You and Me sentiment in Altenew Nimbus ink and cut with the coordinating die. I also stacked the sentiments using the same method above for dimension. Next, I white heat embossed the "how did I get so lucky?" sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock.
Lastly, I glued down all the elements onto my A2 size panel and adhered onto a top-folding card base. I hope you enjoyed today's card share! If you would like to try Pigment products, you are in luck! They are having a 20% off the entire store until May 9th.
