Tea Box - Pixi Dust Designs

Hello crafty friends! This month, I am Guest Desiging for Pixi Dust Designs - they are a new craft company and I love their products on their site. So I was super excited when  they reached out to me for a Guest Design spot.

When I received the products in the mail, the first thing that caught my eyes were the purple dies. Their dies are soooo pretty! It’s such a unique look and I’m totally obsessed with it. Let’s get to today’s project share.

I’ve made a small box that I filled with mini cards. For this project, I used the Tea Box dies and Spellbinder paper.

I first cut the main pieces of the Tea Box in pink cardstock and cut a heart window on the inside panel. I glued a sheet of acetate on the back of the heart. I then folded at the score lines and glued the tabs to form the box.

Next, I cut the front and side panels in patterned paper and glued them onto the box. I then embellished the box with a gold star and foam mounted a “Merry Christmas” banner. Lastly, I filled the box with mini cards. The cards measure 2.75” square and I chose the same paper to match the front of the box.

This box is easy to put together and I’m sure I will be making more. These would be perfect as gifts and can be filled with tea bags, candles, lip balm, and other small items.

And here is another project that I was able to finish in time for the new release. I've made a mini album and a box for it. This time, I made a window shaker with Mickey Mouse clay confettis. The size of my album is 2.75" x 2.75" and I filled it with photos from our Disney trip.

That’s all for my projects and I hope that I’ve inspired you to make a tea box. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Pretty Pink Posh February 2023 Release Blog Hop

Hello friends! Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh February 2023 Release Blog Hop and happy  9th birthday, PPP!  Today, I’m sharing a birthday card and a gift card holder that I made using dies and stencils from the new Birthday Release.  For my card, I started with an A2-sized white cardstock that I ink blended with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed some water for an oxidized effect and also splattered some white ink on it. I then took a scrap of white cardstock and used finger daubers to ink blend Distress Oxide Inks in rainbow colors. I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Lucky Clover, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet. I sprayed water, splattered white ink, and cut the rainbow colored panel with the WISH die. I also cut the flame from the Birthday Mug Addition Dies and ink blended it with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink.  Next, I stamped the sentiments with black ink then foam mounted WISH and the flame on the card panel. I also added some pearls for inter

For added interest, I sprayed this larger panel with water that has a bit of white ink.  Next, I cut the dies from the Winter Mug Dies and the new Easter Mug Additions Dies in white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers and Distress Oxide Inks. The blue bunny mug also got a print from the Mini Grid Stencil . Before foam mounting the mug, I placed a sheet of vellum to soften the carrot background and I also stamped the sentiment onto the vellum with Stazon ink.  Here are the Copic markers I used for the mini eggs: BG70, R00, V000, Y11, YG61, YR000 I embellished the card with Pi
